Hi ~ I'm Tim O'Riley, founder of Between The Vines Online and I’m a huge fan of the Chicago Cubs!

This blog, like our Facebook Fan Page, was created out of our fan enthusiasm and an idea to have an online gathering place for all Cubbie fans to share the passion, swap stories and cultivate a sense of camaraderie with like minded fans. It's been such a pleasure to meet so many wonderful fans, we thought "why don't we put all these great cub fan stories in one place for everyone to enjoy and share." So it was through those fan experiences that this book idea was born.

The book, Between The Vines, is being created by Cub fans, about Cub fans and for Cub fans! A place for fans to be able to share their own experiences and to read about the experiences of others. Maybe it’s the first time you went to Wrigley that stands out in your mind, maybe it’s the first time you took your children, maybe you just remember watching the Cubs on television while your Dad had his arm around you and introduced you to his passion which has now become yours. Whatever the reasons, you have them, I have them, and all Cub fans have them.

How great for you and your favorite Cub memories to be a part of a little piece of history - where all fans will be able to share in the love for our “boys of summer” with one another.
